He Was Waiting to Die… Until We Found Him
That day, we found him under a car.A tiny Ragdoll kitten, curled up in the shadows, completely still. No struggle. No cries. It was as if he had already accepted his fate—quietly waiting for death to come.He had been abandoned. When we got closer, he didn’t run.Maybe he didn’t have the strength anymore.Or maybe… he simply couldn’t see the world around him.His eyes were clouded, nearly blinded by infection. His body was weak, suffering from severe digestive issues that left him constantly ill.His fur was matted and tangled—a painful reminder of how long he had been forgotten. And yet, he was still alive.Fragile… but holding on.We didn’t hesitate. We rushed him to our partner clinic. They cleaned him, examined him, gently shaved away the knots in his fur.Through it all, he stayed unbelievably calm.No resistance. No fear.In that moment, we felt something—as if he knew… we were there to save him.The next month was a long fight.Medication every day. Sprays. Treatments. Care, over and over again. And every single time, he cooperated.Quiet. Trusting. As if he was placing his life into our hands—with everything he had left. And we couldn’t let him down.Little by little, he began to change. His eyes slowly regained their light. His body started to heal, growing stronger day by day.His once lifeless fur became soft and beautiful again. He came back… from the edge of death. It wasn’t a miracle. It was patience, trust… and the refusal to give up.Later, we found him a new home.A warm place. A loving mom who truly cares for him.He no longer has to hide under cars.No longer has to fear being abandoned. No longer has to face the darkness alone. He finally has a home. But our journey doesn’t end here.Because somewhere in this world, there are still lives like his—waiting to be seen.We truly believe:Every time we choose to help,we give this world another chance at kindness. And every life saved…is one more piece of love left in this world.
Rescuing a Severely Injured Stray Kitten
Gu Yi is an injured orange-and-white cat we rescued on October 29, 2024.
At the time, he was wandering the streets with a severe injury to his right hind leg—"it looked as though the skin had been stripped away, and the leg itself was broken."
The veterinarian examined the cat and found swelling and injury on its right hind leg, but no fracture was found. The cat is a 4-month-old male (orange and white).
Fortunately, there was no fracture; the main issues are the hind leg injury and severe edema.
Although there was no fracture, the injury was infected, resulting in extensive skin loss and complete edema of the hind limb.
General anesthesia is required for debridement, medication, and skin grafting. The treatment period is relatively long.
